Ah yes, this was a totally different branch which I found at work (a vacation park) It was very easy to carve and didn't take lots of time. Also the sanding went very quickly. Unfortunately I don't have a dremmel yet, and the wood which I find in the forest/have in the garage is way harder. I'm saving up for more tools so I can finally make my newer designs smoother. It bothers me xD

Do you have a design gallery like do you sketch the wands first them make them or do you just see how it turns out as you're working with the wood?

Both! When I get commissions I make sketches and send them to the buyer so they can approve. When I do my own designs I mostly do them randomly out of my head.

i think when it gets summer we'll open one. currently I'm too busy making commissions for Belgian Potterheads but you can also just order like this. I always make the wand first before it gets paid ^^

A lot of commisions?That sounds good, congrats! Lack of time is really pain, but if one is busy with commissions it's not that bad.To be too busy with for example school is much worse possibility

Well commissons are 30 euros. If I make wands just to sell they're 20-25, depending on the model.
