Description Still having fun with this preset. Had to manimulate it a lot using G'MIC's lylejk's stencil preset (thanks to David for keeping this preset for me) and ended up with this seamless maze if you will.

love this result - what is the actual method?

would you be able to "flood fill" method to only retain corridors that are reachable?

could you make the maze-growth align itself to the orientations in another image?

my effort to copy your idea so far doesn't even join corridors let alone produce such lovely even width:

-repeat @# -l[$>]
-to_rgb

-repeat 4 # begin loop
--b 100 --[-2] [-1] -rm[-1] # balance image density overall
-dog 2,8 # highlight features 3-7 pixels wide
-n 0,1023 -c 0,255 # adj range
-done # end loop

-threshold 192
-n 0,255
-meancurvature_flow 10,10 # anti-alias

-endl -done

I used a GIMP plugin called Turing to start things off. It's result is seamless, but when you make it look like I did, it's not, so I used Resynthisizer (another GIMP plugin) to make it so. Again, it's seamless so you can use it to flood whatever size layer you want and it will be filled without seams. Click on link below for details on the Turing plugin.

64-bit GIMP plugin (can't find the link to the 32-bit plugin;sorry): [link]

Try reducing the size of it. I see at least 3 different colors and the vibrations is awesome; might have to add a warning for epileptics not to click. lol
