21/09/09Drawn on train today.
Exercising drawing skills, playing with different methods of rendering lately. This one was most just hatching.
Been getting into African masks allot this year so if anyone's got an advice or some little story, i'd like to hear it :0

I thought it was a photograph for a moment (with filters ofcourse) but nooooo your rendering has inproved vastly.
when I look at it it reminds me of a person who looks upon the world and all it's sins but cannot speak or intervene (like observing behind glass) and has become exhausted and given up hope for this world.

I have a few african masks, one is really badass and hanging over my doorway, he wears a big grin and has a mane that splays out like fire. I feel he's a good thing to have over my entry, he seems to keep good energy.
I like this, with so few expression-making-features, this face express a real feeling.
