Heheh... Guess who finished Coda's ref sheet and forgot to post it?

I probably put it off at first because I didn't know what to put for the blurb describing him. Well, here it is now. I might update it from time to time and notify you like I'm doing now.

Anyway, Coda is a Light Bot that was built for programming. Quite the creative type, he even builds his own small machines, including his Panther-like robotic cat named Segno. Yes, it's a music pun: you hardly ever see one without the other. Despite all the time he spends in his room building and coding, it's a mess: he has no organization skills whatsoever. Projects are always scattered across the floor, with them being shoved under his bed when Roll asks him to clean up. They just end up all over the floor again later. His desk drawers are filled with blueprints, parts, and tools, and not in an organized way, either. At least you can find the keyboard, mouse, and monitor on his desk, and he manages to keep the area around the computer itself cleanish. Fun fact: he often builds his own keyboards because he breaks them so often and doesn't want to face the crowds and buy a new one. Why are they broken? He gets annoyed at his lagging computer and after deleting so many mistakes he gets fed up enough that he slams his fist down on the delete button. He literally has a pile of keyboards just with the area around the delete button completely destroyed.

Compared to his brothers, Coda is very shy and closed off, one of the few (in my mind) introverted Light bots, the other (in my mind) being his brother, Timeman. He is rather smart, and has very experimental feelings, like how Time has experimental powers and Oilman has an experimental personality. He's extremely sensitive to the feelings of others and can normally read them right off the bat, even Time's. However, this also magnifies his own feelings, making him very sentimental about a lot of things. Although he tries to keep them under control, he can have a bit of a temper, storming off and taking a walk whenever he does so he doesn't hurt anybody. This does get him into trouble sometimes, and his brothers or Segno have to get him out of it.

Coda hates hurting ANYONE, even if it's a Wily bot, and doesn't fight, or even know how, really, besides a few tips he's seen his brothers do. It's not like he's tried them, but at least he knows they exist. He's a lot more willing to see Wily bots as just like his brothers: after all, technically him, Oilman, and Time are all a bit Wily bot. They were finished by Wily, after all, and in my opinion Time even acts quite a bit like a Wily bot. A quote from him in one of my roleplays when told "You act like a Wily bot": "I'm the closest you can get without being one." Although Coda doesn't act a whole lot like a Wily bot, he is extremely stubborn and has a lot of perseverance, which he got from being finished by Wily.

Coda is one of those kinds that gets along with animals a whollllle lot better that people (admit it, you probably know at least one person like this, if you aren't one). Most animals, robotic or organic, will listen to him, unless they're strictly coded against that or Segno. Segno doesn't listen sometimes but that's just him. He can also talk to animals and animal-like things a lot more easily than humans and human-like things. This really isn't a problem for him, since with most animals he can understand them when they do talk back. This is mainly thanks to programming Segno to have the same language as a normal cat would have, so he can understand cats and some other animals like wolves or dogs. Yes, this means he can understand Rush to an extent: not nearly as well as he can with Segno or a cat, but he can get the general idea. Cats he can translate almost perfectly, and wolves are around the middle. Dogs the least. He is getting better at wolf-talk though: he managed to make friends with one, a character of my friend's that Coda named Gigabyte, Byte for short.

Seeing as Coda is the youngest of the Light bots and doesn't know a thing about fighting (not that he has the courage or will to do so), everyone else is rather protective of him, especially Time, Elec, and Guts. He's really close with both Time and Elec. Time is for a concealed reason (you can ask if you want but it'll spoil part of the story I'm writing about him). Elec was the first of the other Light Bots he actually got close to, and both of them like to build projects together sometimes, separate from Dr. Light.

I'm not telling his backstory: you'll get it if you read the story I'm writing on it, though it's a lot like Time and Oil's, the others of his line. How I see it is that Blues (/Protoman/Breakman), Rock, and Roll are siblings, Cutman, Gutsman, Iceman, Bombman, Fireman, and Elecman are siblings, then Time, Oil, and Coda are siblings. They still consider the others their siblings though, and treat them like it, as seen above.
