A wittle pic I did for my friend for his birthday. He loves Link and Zelda games in particular. I really like the way Link, Epona and especially Navi came out in this. Even though the BG DOES leave a little something to be desired (and don't ask about the bubbles, I don't know where they came from either. O.o)Related content

Oh... this brings me some good old memories while playing Ocarina of Time., anyway i like the way you draw epona and navi and though link's face looks a little bit different to the original he also looks good. kewl background (if u remember, in the game where also odd bubbles), nice colors and shading. i like it, +fav

i've beaten all teh zelda games.. and havent' played them for 2 years.. but this past week i've been playing ocarina NON stop. I got back into it and i freakin love it. For that you're getting my fav.. cause zelda is the shit! And this is phat, +fav

ZELDA! I was so happy to find out that Princess Zelda would be featured in Super Smash Brothers Melee for the GameCube instead of JUST Link. They added a different Hyrule Temple stage, along with the Ocean Cove from Majora's Mask. And they evern remembered to give her the ability to change to Shiek! I love Link and Zelda! ^-^

I agree totally tho... The background doesn't doa thing for me either..
That tree.. Looks like peeled boxboard and all around artificial looking..
The grass looks like spaghetti. like each line is one big strand that stretches across the entire ground. (could even be big gobs of toothpaste if your imagination allows..)
And the sky.. I dont even know what that reminds me of..
If it were just Link, Navi and his horse I'd like it alot more the rest seems very rushed however..

the trees texture is brilliant, but it looks as if you spent most of your time on the tree.. the grass, looks like it has a wood texture on it, which is just wierd.. your airbrushing is good for the most part.. you leave some parts too defined, a gaussian blur would fix it up easily.. i really like the the faerie and those wisps that surround it.. and the bubble background is just too distracting and takes away from the image.

You may not like how the image came out, but I do! It's not in exactly the same style as the "official" nintendo ones, but that's alright--it doesn't need to be. It looks very good just the same, the colouring is excellent, and the overall style--even down to little details like the nifty looking tree--is just cool. I'm not too fond of the sword; it looks too flat and jaggie compared to the rest of the image, not quite shiney enough, but it's nothing major. Very nice pic. Link will always the best, even if now he's going to look like a little toddler with a wooden stick >.
