Description
So then . . . my first attempt wading back into Corel Painter. This is actually my mother's 'Mother's Day' present, she loves fairies (and the color pink. ) Thinking about trying to print it out as a poster for her, we'll see how that goes.

As for the pic itself, it's not bad I don't think. I very very very very rarely actually paint out backgrounds, so that in and of itself is a bit of an accomplishment lol. All told I think this took me appx 12ish hours from start to finish (but I took breaks to watch Sword Art Online here or there so it's not 100% accurate). A lot of the coloring process was experimenting with brushes and settings and trying to remember my preferred methods. It's all a learning process.
