Haha, indeed. Elves were considered immortal, which isn't really true, but they lived so long that from a human perspective they seemed so. Arwen still looked like a young woman at the age of 2700+. It also made her rather young compared to someone like Gandalf, who was a Maiar of Valinor and created by Eru Iluvatar before the beginning of the world. That's old!

I agree, Liv Tyler did an outstanding performance as Arwen. Pretty much all of the casting was excellent. I saw a video claiming the role of Aragorn was declined by many, before Viggo Mortensen got it. Very happy he ended up with it Elrond is perhaps the only one I would have given to someone else.

Liv was very hot in "One Night at McCool's"
