Description
Something for the theme "Familiar".Chipwind and his familiar Pooh
- You know, Pooh, sometimes I think you are too huge for a familiar.
- Perhaps it is you Chipwind, who is too tiny for a wizard.
- But I am Chipwind the Great Wizzard! You saw how I chased away the big bad wolf with my staff a moment ago!
- Yes... I'm sure that was what scared it away...
- Don't worry Pooh, I wont let the bad wolf hurt you!
- Very good, Master Chipwind.

Actually we have a few bears.....but very few and far between - I got about 15 m from a sow (mom bear) and 2 cubs..... I was real glad she was going parallel to me and she decided to keep on going!! Looking back on that moment (many times)... I was just plane luck!!!

Oh, cool! Love nature. My favorite TV shows are nature documentaries. Incredible footage these days. One gets to see the world even if one can't afford or have the time to go there
Oops, that was close! Were you walking?
There are rarely incidents with bears here, but about a decade ago a jogger ran between a mama bear and her cubs. Mama bear thought the cubs were in danger and killed the jogger.

Thank you
Not really, it was surprisingly fast. I didn't time it, but I'd say the final render took more than one hour, but less than two. Took a lot longer when I rendered the bear with those cheerleaders
I picked a lot of mushrooms with my grandfather when I was a kid. The forests are full of them here in the autumn

Yeah, it depends a lot on how the lighting and scene is set up and on the render settings. I have done Poser renders which took about 30 hours to render on a quadcore No Cray, just a 2.8 GHz quadcore.

Thanks Suzi The great bear was created by Alessandro Mastronardi... I tried to do it some justice in the render
Yeah, I thought of Rincewind the Wizzard (he spells it like that ). He was a rather silly wizard with a formidable traveling companion
