Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) in a bathroom.I do have nude versions too, but as the ladies are short and very petite I did a re-render and gave them some nighties to wear
With 11 years of rendering experience it still feels like that rendering short, petite and small breasted nude young women isn't really allowed for male artists. The ladies must be 6 feet tall with at least C-cup boobs to be somewhat on the safe side and even so they can get reported or removed. Even without any nudity in the image.
Anyway, that's how it feels when picking images to post in my gallery. Making the images is fun, but picking what to post ... not so much.Β

Could it also be due to the use of real, living people (most likely without asking them first) that are quite young (Maisie is barely older than me) as models which causes this taboo you mentioned?

Certainly a point to consider when portraying actual people, but that is extremely rarely the case 
I very much doubt the "successful and famous" would care the slightest what kind of images I make of them.
Jenna (32) and Maisie (21) seem cute and nice, but as I don't know them, that is just my impression from seeing them on TV. It's the reason why I posted this one, instead of a nude one

I dunno. If I became successful and famous I wouldn't want people making naked pictures of myself (especially without my permission).
For them being fictional, maybe it's the context in which they are displayed? Like, if the subject of the picture is just their nakedness rather than something greater then people will probably interpret it as some kind of porn and outside of dedicated spaces for that, it is somewhat taboo (hence the complaints). The use of 3D digital art probably doesn't help either.

No, it is not about the context. Nudity is not porn and nude imagery has been a part of Deviantart since the beginning.
An image has been online for say 6 years. It has a lot of views, favs and only positive comments.
All it takes for it to get taken down, is a SINGLE complaint by an over sensitive person who shouldn't be browsing with the nudity filters off in the first place. It is utterly unreasonable to expect that all nude images will conform to ones personal tastes. If you don't like it, go look at other galleries or keep the nudity filters ON. I would never have the audacity to demand an image be removed just because I find it distasteful, revolting or something similar. Someone else may like the image. People are different.
It is also totally unfair towards the artist as all this is done completely anonymously. I have no idea of who accused me, what the specific accusation was, or who removed the image.

I enjoy these natural beautiful girls...nude is not everything, clothed is often better.
I would give them Painted toenails at least, and maybe a somewhat smaller trimmed eyebrows....
I don't know why, but these have a swedish feel over them...as if a brother made this picture of his sister in creme and her best friend in red who secretly fancies him

Yeah, coloured nails is a good idea. It's just one of those things one sometimes forgets to do before final render ... and afterwards you don't want to redo a 6 hour render just for that

i like the scandinavian style of houses, especially since most are fully wood, and thus more natural, warmer, environmental fitting or less nature unfriendly etc.
my concrete rental house has been isolated with pur foam, plastic windows with double glass and a special gas within.
i sooo dislike all this chemical and plastic everywhere...luckily we are the last generation to make these

my city is almost 200.000 inhabitants plus the same forenz.Β
and concrete (even covered with brick 'decorative' slates ) is about 90% of the today buildings...the other 10% is old doublewalled brickstone buildings. we have almost no wood buildings in the NL. I prefer the hand made brickbuildings over concrete...yet If you have no choice you must grab anything to prevent being homeless.
yet when i have enough money i intend to build a wood and brick house scandinavian style....

i have a home now again since april 2012, before that i was homeless for 4 years(minus 4 weeks).
i have battled and fought the officials to get a home, and since then i fight to lower my debts from 54.000euro to now about 2500euro.
i look tv, and every time game of thrones was on...i had to work helping others, the few times i saw tidbits, it as not interesting enough (or to fractioned or too far in the series to spur an interest...what i did saw in series one was way to much male genitals and no dragons. i have a 3 meter high, 1.6 meter large linen poster of a small person on a boat and a green overflying dragonΒ static.posters.cz/image/750webβ¦

I have gained the DRWho series upto series 8 I believe, but haven't gotten the time to look at it yet...looking alone is so booooooooring. I am currentlyy on a pause with my BFF with looking at the Star Trek Original series, somewhere near the last 10 of them before the next generation.

I did like to sit on the Throne of Game of thrones in april 2014 yet they refused to make apicture and dissallowed me from making one self because I had not seen the movie..wipes I think if I would see it from the beginning I surely would like the film (although I dislike all the genitals I saw and heard are displayed)
