Wow , that is some serious rendertime but it looks AWESOME.
I gave up on PP2012, I think it does not work to well on Mac , maybe I need to upgrade to Lion but than PP2010 wont work.

Tried small area render with AA and DOF turned on in render settings. Judging by the speed it would take tens of hours for a full render
I have the same problems with PP2012 you mentioned in a journal. Also python scripts won't work in mine 
I need to use PP2010 to use python scripts, then load scene into PP2012 for rendering or further work. With a PC there would be no crap like this.
Update to Lion and PP2010 won't work. Oh dear, this is just perfect! Damn Apple

The only reason why I gone back to SnowLeopard is that I need my PP2010 because 2012 is so blooming glitchy on my iMac.
It renders so much slower and when I use dynamic cloth in it it takes 4 times as long as in PP2010 IF it even starts simulating.
The updated Shaderworks script do work fine for me in 2012 just not anything else lol
SSS is not that important to me as it often looks unrealistic , waxy and to soft in my opinion BUT I like how you see where shadows will fall while you work on the scene.

Apart from the python script issue PP2012 works fine for me. Well, the content browser is more annoying too. The white hand cursor and the directory only occasionally scrolls with mouse button.
Have you used Activity Monitor to follow how much RAM it's using? I keep the memory pie chart in my system dock to monitor memory use.
Ah, sorry, I often call it AA (anti-aliasing) although it's called smooth polygon in Poser.

I need to check, but I thought it would not be more than PP2010 and that runs on the same maschine but double as fast and the Cloth Room works too where in PP2012 it is always a matter of LUCK.lol
