This comic continues on...Flowey has his first reset, and also gets his name! Because Asgore isn't very good at names.Once again, this is divided into a lot of different parts!

What.... okay... Resetting is confusing. When he reset did he change the world? Rewind it to a point then change one detail? And also.... why reset if he'll just go back to the same moment over and over again? I know he didn't want to die, but why keep yourself in a self imposed purgatory of hatred?

Have you played Undertale? I don't get some of the finer points either, but basically resetting brings you back to where you first discovered your power to rwset, and only the Main Characters Frisk, Chara and Asriel (Flowey) can do it.

I never played it really. Kinda picking up the information as I look around. It seems Determination allows Chara, Asriel, and Frisk that control.

When he resets, he rewinds time for everyone back to his starting save point, which is in the garden.
And Flowey explains why in the game: he was interested in using this power, and curious to see what would happen if he first solved everyone's problems, and then did bad things and killed people. Basically, Flowey gained the power of the player, and wanted to see what he could do.Β

Of course it was Asgore of all people who came up with that name. It makes perfect sense now! XD

Asgore didn't remember the name Asriel, but he remembered about the flower. He's lousy at names, so he named Flowey. Asriel found it appropriate for his new identity, so he accepted the name Flowey.
"I already CHOSE that name." -the response while naming the fallen human Flowey.
