Description This is obviously a WIP... It's not quite finished, yet. XD

I'm working on my coloring, again... I found this base here:

Let me know what else I can improve upon. ^^U I know it's awful, yet I would appreciate some constructive criticism...

It seems too... gradient-like. I would suggest first by outlining the shading like in anime, how there's only two shades and the darker shade is just another solid color. I would do that first, and then blend the two colors together. When you shade, you should also have a concept of the light. In this picture the light doesn't seem to be particularly anywhere. The shading is kind of everywhere on every side. Pick one side that you put shading on and keep it that way.

Okay... Thanks. ^^U I hope I can apply that... My friend basically taught me how to color/shade faces and eyes, not clothes... We didn't get that far. X___X

Yeah, larger areas like clothes are pretty hard. I have trouble with them too, since you can get too comfortable shading clothes like gradients. Clothing doesn't have smooth surfaces like flesh does; it has wrinkles and texture, so it needs to be shaded a bit more rough-like.
