I absolutely love this! the silhouetted trees dissolving into the mist, and the road curved into what feels like oblivion, it's got such a mysterious feel to it, and the perspective is just fantastic~

Lovely shot, love the mist. I had to do a double take on the road markings lol, then I re read the title and it became obvious it was a pathway That tree looks pretty dam old as well, seen some history I'm sure.

And yeah it has, most of the side of the tree has been burnt. Makes for an interesting photo I guess, but the poor tree. :/

The life of a tree hey, and sometimes we think we have it tuff Is that near to where you live? was thinking it could make for some more lovely shots, close ups as well of the burnt area's, maybe a cob web in there as well? if you don't mind spiders I guess lol

Yes it's in a lovely park about a 20 minute walk from my house and it's where I take most of nature photography so I'll most definitely be back there and I'll be sure to keep those ideas in mind!
