EVENT - Sick horse adoption*OPEN* (1st and 2nd picture in one, in the first there is taken care of her injured and in the last is she healthy)

Horse: Maple Gold (no. 10)

Rider/Owner: Alyson (new OC made specially for Maple)

Story (653 words):

Alyson was walking through the market, searching for some nice gift for her cousin while suddenly she heard a strange noise. Crowd of people did surrounded one bigger stage and they was looking like if they are expecting something to happened. Because of her never sleeping curiosity she changed her direction and went there too. When she got there she saw few peoples on the podium with poor looking horse. Rest of horses were standing past the podium. They were all in really bad condition, one in worst than another.
Alysone waited there before the handler and probably also seller explained what's going on. These horses were found with crew of criminals, they vere drugged and mistreated. King and Queen managed to save them but they can't keep them all. Because of that these horses were given to adoptions and the only condition is to keep them save and heal them.
Auction started. Alyson waited there for not really a reason. She never had own horse and she never wanted one but she has experience as rider and vet. It was her job back there before she quit. Alys saw few really bad injuries while working but never too many mistreated horses. Most of them was looking like they lost their will and as they will rather die. She felt really bad for them but also happy because there wasn't single horse who doesn't find home. Until the number 10 came.
It was young and somehow temperament mare. She was looking more in sense than other horses but she was really scared. Farrosian mare kicked the handler twice just because he wanted to tap her on neck to calm her down. Nobody wanted her. Alyson was sadly watching that. And then the mare looked into her eyes. Al saw that fear and hopelessness that this young horse was holding within and without even knowing it she raised her arm. Big smile appeared on handler's face and he gladly handed mare over to Alyson. Women was so surprised from what happened that she doesn't even remember how she got home.
But she was there, standing in the middle of her yard with young, scared mare who was trying to get away from her.
Alyson led mare into barn where she will live before Al will mange to do something about it and went to sleep.
It took weeks before the mare stopped to fear her and way more before she started to trust her. There was on particular thing that helped their relationship and because of what mare earned her name, Maple Gold.
It was formally name of lullaby Alyson nanna was singing to her when she were young. One day Al went to pasture where Maple was standing and she sung it.

Lie into the leafs of maple gold,
listen to your dreams being formed,
taking you in pleasantly embrace,
showing you the mysteries of space.

Lie into the warm of friendly arms,
watching the sparking in your eyes,
saving you from your wounds and scares,
connection of two loving hearts.

'cuz even with your body being fold,
your soul still hangs to maple gold.

That was the first time when Maple came to Alyson without fear. And the start of great friendship.

Month alternated month and not so soon but not so late Maple start to look healthy enough. Alyson and her spent long happy moments together playing with water, the thing that Maple loves and just being together. When the autumn came Alysone decided to start taking Maple under saddle they started slowly but Maple was happy and willing to do anything to please her rider. She was jumping, doing dressage (of course the easiest) but the thing she loved them most was endurance or just tripes in the wild. Life slowly starts to settle down and everything calms.
Alyson and Maple both seems like they found something to live for.
