If I was a pirate captain, I'd want this guy to be my cook. He looks like he puts a lot of dedication into his cooking and he looks tough too. He's perfect!

Alright... Lemme think here a second... The harpoon tip should look sharper i think, but that's just me. I've seen some round tipped harpoons before, although they are rather uncommon I think. The pan behind him (or at least I think that's what that is), could have used a little more work, since it actually looks oddly two dimensional despite the lighting in comparison to him. The shading on the hat seems one line premature when I try and picture this realistically based on the rest of the lighting. The cars look good, but I think burn scars might have been more appropriate. The blank space on the upper right would have been great for a finishing touch such as "Iron chef," "Harcore chef," or something sorta rye and witty such as "You're on the menu." alright, I'm gonna leave it at that for now. Too much criticism can drive one insane, and I think I overdid it as is. XD

Fun character. I have a suggestion and a question.
First the suggestion: I'm not clear on what his "utensils" are. A ladle on his back, and a hook? Maybe I'm just not much of a chef, but I would suggest giving the guy some more instantly recognizable weapons, like a giant cast-iron skillet... and a meat tenderizer. Oh yeah... [link]
Now the question: Probably stated somewhere, but I'm too lazy to search. Just wanted to know if your linework is all digital, or whether you pencil or ink anything on paper beforehand. Thanks. Keep 'em coming.
