Heyyyy so I actually sketched these back in flippin' August-September?
it's just that I hadn't gotten around to coloring 'em till semi recently hah

So these are supposed to be some revised concept sketches of 6 side characters that'd be in Mako & Gabby's story.

If you wanna know tiny little fraction tid-bits of these guys, keep reading [but it's not much lol]

-------- Warning; y'all ain't gonna see much of any content with 'em forever- but I've been making plans for them a ton backstage, just so ya know-----------

Claramae Irri Ceruli- [ Claramae = bright, clear / Irri = reference to the word 'iridescent' / Ceruli = reference to the word/color cerulean blue ]
-----yes I know she literally just stole Marinette's entire color pallete shush, eet eez what eet eez alraight-----
She's a Blue Dragon Sea Slug mer, also known as the Blue Glaucus. She's not quite a princess, but she's of the higher class, and she cares a great deal about honesty / justice. Resides in the North Pacific Ocean [for reasons I cen't get into mwahahah] -------[revamp of Day #31 of my old and terrible 2021 MerMay drawing]

Elias Morray- [EEL-ias, get it? heheh I know I'm so funny]
He's a green Morray Eel. His parents are reletively well knownish business owners, and he's planning on and trying to work in sales. He's got an ego and likes to be able to say he knows better than people. [also he's got green eyes, but also wears glasses that are green, because he's that extra] Resides in the Indian Ocean [for reasons I can't get into mwhaha]

Opal- [cause I wanted a name starting with O for [reasons] and I liked it idk]
She's a Flying Fish mer, and honestly the least applicable/relevant out of all of them. She's really just for some funny/cute spin-off stories for future Mako and Gabby stuff, so you won't see her for forever. Greyson doesn't like her.

Sasha- [cause I mean sash, it fits, also I named her that way back then so I just kept it]
She's a Ribbon Eel. She is married to Mako's oldest brother Verrill, super talkative and likes to dance. So not super important in the story but I needed to figure her out already. [revamp of Day #29 of my old and terrible 2021 MerMay drawing]

Mara- [name means 'sorrowful' haha there's reasons but they're not relevant enough lol]
She's a Sandbar Shark. She's the daughter of Verrill and Sasha, obviously taking after her dad, but wishes she was a ribbon eel like her mom cause she thinks it's prettier. She's cute and real quiet around anyone besides her parents for now. So yeah she's Mako's niece. [Oh and Verrill/Sasha/Mara live in the North Atlantic Ocean like Mako and Gabs btw]

Caleb Anomura- [Caleb = means 'Faithful / Whole-hearted' also I just named him that way back then so I kept it / Anomura = literally just refers to decapod crustations cause I liked how it sounded ]
He's a Hermit Crab. He's also Ladro's adoptive dad, which is ironic since he didn't know a thing about kids, so he had to learn. He travels around and only recently [within the past few years] decided to stop and settle for Ladro's sake. [Lives in North Atlantic with the rest of the Mer-dorks] -----[ revamp of Day #22 of my old and terrible 2021 MerMay drawing]
