Odd question but how would these giants sleep?

I could imagine them sitting down like a huge dog and sleep with their head up... Or they could just sleep standing like many birds today.

I mean they would have no problem "kneeling down" by folding both their front an backlimbs and then slightly bend their necks backwards (as far as the long neck vertebra allow it though)

Ah, well that would be scary nonetheless, they would be like motionless sentinels in the night for the small sauropods

I wonder if they even needed to sleep in the first place. Some animals have adaptations that allow them to circumvent the need for a true 100% deep sleep, so the animals just rest half-awake at all times.

well Pterosaurs were terrestrial vertebrates like their dinosaur relatives and other reptiles. We don’t have any real reason to believe they wouldn’t have a need for sleep, even modern ground dwelling birds and ungulates have periods where they do enter REM sleep. Though there are ways to mitigate the risk that comes with resting for any length of time such as relatively short resting cycles or sleeping in relatively secluded places like higher ground or those that make detecting predators a tad easier even when lightly sleeping.

Probably depends on whether or not said species of pterosaur would be migratory to such an extent to begin with to warrant a habit like that, but maybe it’d possible for some. Large Azdarchids like Quetzocoatlus and Hatzegopteryx may not be among them given their niche. As for birds I think I recall there being some evidence that migratory and far ranging aquatic species like frigates ,swifts , waterfowl and terns will actually take short naps while in flight (by way of Unihemispheric slow-wave sleep, asymmetric SWS and other types) or on the water during long trips :

What like dolphins!?

jesus as if they weren't eerily vampiric enough...

Well my logic is that a huge animal like this would be pretty vulnerable if it just rested collapsed on the ground with wings folded and all, but I am no expert.

Edit: Swifts can sleep while in the air and giraffes can sleep standing up. I wasn't necessarily thinking about dolphins right now.

Pretty much just comes down to how long they sleep, where they sleep and the positions they adopt when resting I suppose

Hmm... I think they aren't the kind to soar extremely long distances like a seabird, more like a vulture so maybe its the ground.

Quetz might have that problem on the mainland and go for higher ground, but Hetzeg was like a pirate on those islands filled with dwarven sauropods so I think it could've been pretty safe.

Tbh, Quetz would be pretty safe sleeping on open plain with little cover. Its towering height would allow it to detect any predator stalking by, as the predators would have hard time trying to find cover to hide their presence. Also, anything that is big enough to actually pose threat to a Quetz would be making pretty amount of noise as well.
