This artwork was begin in production since October 2009 and has been long delay until it release now, on Jan 2010. (Wow, I have spent about 3 months again? )

You can say I have procrastinate this (sorry, folks) but look at the bright side, it's my first submission for 2010! LOL And yeah, hope it's not too late (obviously) to wish you all Happy New Year 2010!

Before I proceed for my comments, below are the WIPs:-

Okay, initially I was actually planning to draw Kairi... but that time, it was 358/2 days hype... so I opted for Xion (yeah, I know it's a bit too late cause now it's Birth By Sleep hype!)

And this artwork supposedly schedule release before Christmas 2009. Yet again, I have failed to meet so-called deadline due to over-busyness surrounding my work life.

But to compensate the disappointment, I have decided to draw Kairi using the same model as base. (Isn't it Xion looks like Kairi in game? And I know why... but I don't spoil it here LOL)

This artwork's theme, I planned to do something surreal. That explains why the background looks colorful especially the vibrant red. Red represents the main color theme for KH: 358/2 days.

And what's with the dissolving effect of Kairi? Okay, first I wanted to try some special effect instead of plain realism portrait. I wanted to try something different compare to my previous artwork. Another explanation is that, there's connection (once again, I'm not gonna spoil it) and the viewer sees Xion as if they were seeing Kairi. (LOL, I'm not sure if that message tells)

Why the title "Promise"? Like I said in my previous WIPs, I seldom see Xion smiling except for one where she shown her smiling at Twilight Town clock tower. So it's like Roxas telling her to promise him that she will smile always regardless of anything... And that she responded, "I promise" just like Kairi said before she been separated from Sora at the end of KH1.

So, I hope you guys like this artwork. Since this artwork really took me a lot of time, so you may not expecting for major amendment in anatomy/parts/outfit. I have tried my very best to ensure that everything looks perfects, trying not to run out of proportion etc. Nevertheless, feel free to tell if anything I missed. I'll try my best to edit if possible otherwise I will just leave it as is.
