This is my first ever Resident Evil fanart!

Resident Evil 2 was one of my first games that I bought and played when I got my Playstation (Dual Shock version) around the 1998/99. Although I don't really like horror genre, I actually liked the game maybe because it had intriguing puzzles and fueled with suspense (though I admit the dialogues are damn corny and awkward, even back then). But the story caught my attention and not to mentioned the memorable soundtracks especially when you entered the RPD for the first time and the save room. Because of RE2, RE3 had becoming my favorite too especially the introduction of Nemesis and its infamous S.T.A.R.S growling.

Then came the recent remakes for both RE2 and RE3. All I can say I was damn amazed with the improvements - the obvious ones are the realistic graphics, characters, dialogues and story. Unfortunately, I don't own PS4 so I can't really tell about the gameplay. But from what have seen in some videos in YouTubes, I would say they provide a whole new experience from the previous version.

ANYWAY, the reason why I decided to draw Jill Valentine because I really find that she's quite beautiful in the game. Also, I would like to try drawing a person with all wounded and covered with dirts and grease to see if I can achieve the effects. It's actually quite simple of achieving the effects - just using the right textured brush and proper lighting/shading.
