Another day. Steven crawled out of the warm covers and rubbed his eyes. Today was going to be great. Maybe something exciting would happen? His stomach tickled as he grew excited. Every second of getting ready for the day, he couldn't stop thinking of the adventures that might happen. Steven anxiously ran to the bathroom, but stopped as is feet touched the cold tile floor. "I really hope the gems will spend time with me today..." The gems have been gone for days saving the world, not having any time to barely speak to Steven. He felt left out and... lonely. He tried to keep his chin up as he picked up his toothbrush and squeezed the flat toothpaste. all out... "aww. my toothbrush isn't complete without toothpaste," Steven pouted, then jumped up, "I know where to get some!" He ran to the closet, tripping on something large and familiar. He looked up with starry eyes, "Garnet!" He wrapped his arms around her leg and she gave him a cute smile. "Hello Steven. I missed you~~~" Steven giggled and turned around to Pearl and Amethyst. "Pear! Amethyst!" He was so glad they were back, but his excitement was interrupted-
"Oh Steven, we missed you too, but we have to go back soon." Pearl said.
"I want to come!" Steven insisted
"Sure Steven! Let's go!" Amethyst shouted
"No! You remember what Garnet said. There's a home gem who is fighting Peridot and could be a possible threat. It could be dangerous, and Steven isn't that far into his training yet. We have no idea who this gem is or what damage they could do. Steven has to stay." Pearl's tone was annoyed
"It can't be that bad." Amethyst argued.
Steven begged until garnet finally said, "Steven's coming. He's stood up to other gems before."
"WOOHOO" Steven jumped up and stumbled onto the warp."
Pearl groaned and followed with the rest.

As normal, the sunset was beautiful. The clouds sparkled a bright pink and yellow that lit the ravine. On the far right side of the ravine, the gorgeous light faded as smoke crawled further. In the center of the mushroom cloud was a bright pink light that flashed every now and then. Steven instantly felt intimidated. He actually began to change his mind. But no, he straightened his posture and decided to stay strong. It shouldn't be that bad right? He could probably persuade this gem to stop fighting. The walked closer, with Pearl in front and Steven in the back, right behind Garnet.
"AAAGH YOU CRYSTAL CLODS ARE HERE TOO? WHY WON'T YOU JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!" Peridot screamed and instantly flew away with her helicopter fingers. "TRY TO CATCH ME NOW HAHAHAHA" She laughed and flew herself to the wall as she dodged a bubbly cherry bomb. "HAHAA MISSED YOU PINK FREAK!" Ok, now she escaped.
Quick steps got louder as a small gem slid by, throwing a pink bomb at the crystal gems. Steven forgot that he actually has a shield and just jumped out of the way. The Gems pulled out their weapons and got into a fight stance. It was silent for a bit. "She got away you idiots! AAGH" a high voice yelled and it echoed through the ravine. "I'll teach you what happens when you get in the way!" This time he ran by, but slipped under garnet and pointed a pink pop gun behind her. Garnet turned around and grabbed him by the waist, Amethyst pulled the gun from his hand, and Pearl pointed a spear at him. "LET ME GO YOU BLOCKHEAD! I DID THIS FOR YOU IDIOTS! YOU BETTER NOT HURT ME." He squirmed and pushed on her gauntlets, trying to get released. He wasn't very strong, so Garnet's hands didn't budge. "Wait Garnet!" Steven squeaked, "You know the gems?". Pearl was wit Steven this time "Alright Bixbite. What do you want to say?" Apparently Pearl knew him as well. "I was going after her for you!" Bixbite squirmed even more,
"There were some of us you know!... Some who survived! Not just you!"
"You're a home gem" Said Pearl
"Not anymore! AGH GE YOUR SMELLY HANDS OFF ME!"
"What?" Steven didn't understand.
"I've had enough of you." Garnet gave him a small squeeze and Bixbite's body was gone. A large red gem fell to the floor, ringing as it hit the ground.
"That's a big gem" Pearl shrugged as she picked up Bixbite's gem.
"But-" Steven didn't know what to say. No. It's time for the gems to listen. He grabbed the gem from Pearls hands "STOP!!!"------------------------------------------

The Next morning, Bixbite was still laying in the pillow next to his bed. Steven wondered how much he was hurt and how long it would take to find out more who this gem was. Steven believed he was good. He had persuaded the gems to let him take care of this new gem. Garnet trusted him. But does Steven trust Bixbite?

Ummm. Yeah really lame story. And not even very finished.... (I didn't even proofread it XD) If you don't like it, JUST LEAVE. IDC
