Description
Happy Independence Day!!Ironic that I'm using an icon from Japan. XD
So yeah. Barrel Dragon Bandit "Steve" Keith.
I know it's stupid. ^^:
But at least it's stupid..
Yeah, I might be doing that a lot today.
NOTE: I used the OCG version of Barrel Dragon. TCG version was to complicated for me. Get off my back.

I've always been more of a fan for the "4kids" version. The six-shooter head and arms are neat, but laser barrels just look cooler!

Hair Guy: Attention duelist, my hair says that this Barrel Dragon sure loves to talk about America.

Well, I did want to say something about this.
I really love the design of Barrel Dragon. Concept-wise, it's one of my favorite cards in the game (a mechanical dragon that has six-shooters as a head and arms), and it's just so badass.
So, I really liked this work. Sorry if I said something about a week or so AFTER the original fave.

The OCG version IS better. It looks way more badass having three hefty revolvers pointed at your opponent. I use Barrel Dragon as an ace in my Machine deck, and I can always fall back on Gatling Dragon if needs be.
Kudos for such an awesome drawing of an awesome, all-American Machine!

I've liked Barrel Dragon for ages, though. It's been one of my fave Machines along with Jinzo.

Yeah, but they just don't cut it for today's metagame. (Karakuri is where its at .) X3

The closest I have to a 'metagame' deck is my Psychic deck. Otherwise, I use what I want to. And I think Jinzo is a bit underrated. Most archetypes have some pretty nasty traps, so Jinzo can have some role to play. And I'm pretty lucky using Barrel Dragon's effect.

This does what against everyone's Stardust?

Indeed, you know this well: Barrel Dragon, Blowback Dragon, Twin-Barrel Dragon and Gatling Dragon are very good anti-Stardust cards because their effects may not destroy a card. They don't destroy at activation, like Magical Dimension, so you can dispatch Stardust Dragon easily

Stardust assault? X3 (Not to mention he's prone to bottomless and skill drain.)

I don't know anyone who uses Stardust Assault, but it can negate any effect, I think...

Anything that ain't a counter trap. (What about Skill Drain?)

If Skill Drain is present on the field before it is summoned, then that will stop it. Otherwise, its effect can be chained to the card's activation, and Stardust/Assault's effect will resolve before Skill Drain.
