I love alleys, and the zig-zaggy effect of the ladders is quite the path for the eye. Gives it a sense of uncertainty, transience. Palette knife, hey? I think I am going to do some more of those type of paintings. I always love the hasty look of them. This one also captures a sense of "grime" as well.
