Description cosplay: myself as nina

photography & editing: :devamyschn

another shot from Leipzig Bookfair. (ok, who's been there recognizes the background anyway xDD ) It was taken in the evening, so the title is as un-fitting as it can be xD I liked the light here, it became like this because of some lamps on the ground :3 (well .. I think amy's editing plays a role, too .. xD )

An awesome place to take a picture, and you are awesome like that; I can't say that I watched the anime that you're cosplaying, but you are very cute at it. ^^

Ich kann leider nicht so viel zu dem Chara sagen, aber ich finde das Bild echt toll!
Der Hintergrund und das Licht sehen einfach genial aus zusammen mit dem Cosplay

Dunno about Liebzig but that BG looks like a villainous lair.

yay, you really made the first comment this time!

xD you think it does? I suppose it's because it was already getting dark outside and there's this orange light from below .. during the day, it didn't have this effect xD

Yes, I yelled in a manly fashion and succeeded against all odds...

I think the 'lair' thing is more because there's a section in Moonraker [a James Bond film] with a BG almost exactly like that; incidentally when the villain is monologuing [giving his 'you cannot defeat me, i've already won, you're so weak and pitiful' speech].

Dramatic lighting is the key to a good site of villainy.

xD then probably the architect was James Bond-Fan or something .. xDD

lol .. you're turning nina into a super-villain now? XD

She did yell something along the lines of 'I'll show them all' at one point, sometime during her tenure as a bomb-maker.

Maybe more of an anti-villain; ok methods, completely wrong intentions. [sort of the opposite of an anti-hero [right goals, bad methods]]

xDD lol ..

you think her methods are okay? oO building mass-destruction weapons and stuff? ... o.o,,
and about wrong intentions, well, I think she's sort of traumatized and confused and probably a little deranged as a consequence xD but I wouldn't really call this wrong intentions .. xD

making a weapon is no different from making a pot. She seemed completely oblivious to what she was actually building, even when she stopped a section of Nivada from existing.

Unwillingness to look at what her actions meant in the grand scheme seems like a textbook example of 'wrong' though. Villains usually have some agenda to make the world into their idea of a 'better place' at least for them and their associates, whereas Nina lived only for her revenge.

you really think so? making a pot doesn't mean someone will be killed with it - they could, but it's improbable. by making a weapon you provide a tool that most probably WILL kill people .. so for me you can't compare these two things .. making a weapon and saying 'well, they don't need to use it, so it's not a bad thing' is pure ignorance.

but probably we still meant the same thing, after what you said now .. xD

Her fixation on killing Lelouch left her somewhat blind to those around her. I think she was just trying to make a bomb to kill Lelouch, rather than anyone else in the bargin and certainly didn't seem to notice that the weapons were then replicatable...

Maybe method is the wrong word, erm... how to say...making one weapon knowing it will be used to kill once is no different if it's a bullet or a nuke: she didn't factor in the collatoral, which is larger with the bomb.

you're definitely right there, she was totally fixed on that and didn't realize anything else that was going on .. you should think she were an intelligent person, but obviously that's only limited to the scientific area - she totally fails when it comes to moral or social aspects ..

ah, so "You're meant to think she's an intelligent person, but..."

well, something like that anyway

sounds right.

in the second sentence, Should is future tense ['should have' is past admittedly], while Were is past. What were you trying to say?

uh okay, it's just wrong xD It was meant as conditional
