Vernal Fall, Yosemite National Park, California, USAAugust 2007
This photo is stitched from two portrait-orientation shots to capture the full height of this beautiful waterfall. As their name implies, the falls are at their peak (and I am told beautiful) in the spring, as opposed to the peak of summer when this was taken, which explains the limited flow.

Wow, beautiful. And very strange to see. That's even VERY low flow for the Merced River. It'll be flowing this year higher late in the season with all the snow they got.
