However, as nightfall approached, it wasn't long before the young Riolu had gotten lost. And--since it was dark--very scared. He had never been in a huge forest all alone before, especially Creeping Forest. Though when he thought about why he was here, he had snapped out of his scared daze. He would keep himself sharp, his little paws would glow with a strange energy--apparently readying forcepalm--and soon came across the fireworks themselves, way before anyone else would've spotted them. pulling his Bandanna down from over his face, he inspected the fireworks, eyes alight in wonder and curiousity. But also, questions circled his mind. If this was here, where did the bag they were in go? It wasn't long before he caught the scent of a pokemon on them. A Delibird scent, to be exact. He looked around, following the scent and then leaving a trail of berries behind him, just so he could return to where the fireworks were. However, it wasn't long before his nose picked up other scents. He looked behind him, keeping his eye out for following enemies, when he had then bumped into something.

His tendrils shivered, turning around and then letting out a loud yelp when he had come face to face with a pair of big, smiling jaws, and two red eyes.

"Gaaahh!"

"Riii!"

Little Vee had fallen over, beginning to tear up as the bag fell out of his paws. It wasn't long before the little baby Riolu began to cry, his small squeaking sniffles and yelps unyielding.

It wasn't long before the pokemon he had bumped into had gotten a bit flustered and thrown off track by the Riolu's crying.

"Hey....hey...." the Pokemon said, trying to catch Little Vee's attention. "Hey, little guy...it's ok..Pleashe Shtop Crying...."

Little Vee had stopped, looking at the pokemon. It was a Totodile, by the looks of it, but his face seemed familiar, along with his voice. The Totodile, however, looked embarrased that the small tot had heard his voice. The Riolu then understood--it was probably the way he was talking.

"Yew talk Funneh two?"

"Huh?"

"I said, do Yew haf Funneh talkin'?"

The Totodile seemed a bit embarrased, but then shook it off, avoiding the child's question.

"What's a little Kid like you doing here in the Creeping Forest?"

"I'm Wookin' for Zhoo's Bag!"

"Who's bag?"

"Zhoo's! Master Zhoo's!"

"Master Zhoo...? don't you mean, Zhu?"

"That's what I said! Zhoo!"

"Tom, just wha--"

The Riolu jumped, but then looked at the pokemon that had appeared with the Totodile. It was a Skitty....a Shiny one, no less. The Skitty had eyed the smaller Riolu.

"Aren't you a little too young to be out in the forest at night?" the Skitty said, though the Riolu seemed to get a little red.

"I jush wanna help!"

"Help?" the Skitty said, once again eying the Riolu in suspicion. "Who exactly are you helping?"

"Masther Zhoo!"

"Master Who?"

"Master Zhoo!"

"He means 'Master Zhu', Scharlet."

Scarlet had eyed the Riolu once more, giving him a bit of a look before asking.

"Just how old are you, Kid?"

Little Vee then got nervous.

"jush....two days old."

"Two days? It's dangerous for a kid like you."

"But I wanna help! please lemme help...I wanna find teh bag and return the Fyrewerks!"

Then it dawned on little Vee. From the description of the bag, it would seem he would need help.

"Can youse help Mwe?"

"Help you?" Scarlet questioned. "What's the catch?"

"Noh Catche....I'm wookin' for a bag made out of Black scales. That's Mashter Zhoo's bag... If youse help me, I pwomise I'll help yew when yew's need somethin... Pleassseee...?" the small Riolu begged, giving his best pair of puppy dog eyes at the two.

The Totodile and Skitty had then huddled together, murmuring and talking amongst each other. They then turned to the baby Riolu.

"Ok. We'll help you... IF, you keep your promise, Kid."

"Okeh! And my Nems' not 'kid'! It's Vweentiss."

"What?"

"Vweentiss."

The Skitty twitched her ears. "Come again?"

"Vween--... Jush call me Widdle Vee."

"Little Vee? Odd name for a Riolu, but I guess it sticks." the Skitty said. "I'm Scarlet, and this is Tom."

"You've got a Pwetty Name, Scharlet."

"Gee... Thanks."

"Vou're Velcome!"
