Lynxleap padded out of camp with a lost look, his head in the clouds. He didn't notice a couple of roots sticking out of the ground and tripping, his fall was softened by someone else. Oh no he thought glancing at the cat he had just crashed on.

"Gah!" The ice-eyed tom exclaimed as someone fell right on him. He shook his head
and looked up at Lynxleap, eyes narrowing in surprise from the fall.

Uh, I-ah he mumbled staring at the icy blue eyes glaring back at him, without thinking he said "Wow, you sure have pretty eyes." Just as he finished that sentence he realized what he had just said. "I-I mean I he stuttered scrambling on his paws only to fall back on his haunches. "Hehe,I-I'm sorry he stuttered feeling his fur growing warm.

Berrydust's 'pretty' ice blue eyes couldn't even try to hide the surprise now
flashing in them. He got himself up and dusted some of the dirt and leaves
that clung to his pelt. "Pretty eyes.." He muttered before looking up at Lynxleap
and nodding. "Thank you."

Lynxleap crumbled to the ground in embarrassment. Looking up as the tom spoke he only felt his pelt growing even hotter than a drought during green leaf. Eh I-I didn't mean to...he stopped and chuckled I look like a complete idiot right now, am I right?

"Ah, nice to meet you then Lynxleap." He mewed, blinking lightly. "I'm Berrydust."

"So Berrydust, I dunno should we hunting or something its a little boring to be cooped up all day long." He suggested "Unless you have any other idea of course." he said trying to make the situation less awkward than it already was for him.

"Hm.. hunting sounds fun. Shall we go hunt then?" Berrydust asked, blinking softly as he swished his tabby tail.

"Yeah." He said and smiled warmly at the gray tabby tom. "Come on then." he said his trot turning into a spring with a challenging look. "Bet I can get to the muddy stream first."

Berrydust's calm expression grew a smirk across his muzzle, eager for a challenge. "We'll see about that-" He shot back in a competitive way before bolting it out of camp.

Smirking as well he sped beside the gray tabby smiling as he saw the stream nearing. Such was the concentration on the race he missed the soft slippery ground a few fox lengths around the stream. Doing his best to halt on his tracks he skidded across the mud, falling on his belly with a loud splash. "You okay?" he asked without getting up from the sticky surface

Berrydust seemed to have fallen in the mud himself, because now he too was lying on his belly, covered in it. "As much as I can be falling in the mud-"

With a hard tug he was able to stand up on wobbly paws, like a kit learning to walk, he padded over to Berrydust with mud dripping down his tangled fur. "Want some help?" he said with a chuckle offering a paw to the tabby. "It could be worse, we could have fallen in the stream." he added.

Berrydust nodded softly, basically saying it was okay to help him. "Yeah. I'd rather not go for a swim right now." He said in agreement.

Grabbing Berrydust's scruff in between his teeth he pulled up the light pelted tabby, separating him from the glue like mud. "We sure are a mess now." he chuckled looking at Berrydust who was just as dirty as him. "Me neither but I believe there are some puddles near we can wash off." he added

Berrydust flicked his tail as Lynxleap suggested going into the puddles. He nodded. "Okay, to the puddles we go~"

"Onward!" he chuckled leading Berrydust to a couple of crystalline puddles near by, big enough for the muddy warriors. "Im just warning you it will be very cold." he said and shivered as an icy chill ran through his spine as he stepped into the water. "C-Co-Cold." he stammered but wadded deeper in

"Alright." said Lynxleap and stepped out of the water. With water dripping down his cheeks he bean shaking his fur, showering the ground with droplets. Sighing he saw how his fur had ended up, like a giant messy porcupine. "Dont laugh." he warned playfully as he tried smoothing his messy tangle of fur

a certain former mentor, decided that he'd go out for a
walk. He took deep breaths, as he knew that if he ever
lashed out at Tigerfrost, he'd be screwed. He sighed and
decided to look across the border, raising his eyebrow at the
sight of the a shy cat walking along the border.
