My entry for 's contest. We had to pick an existing Pokemon and evolve it into a legendary.I chose Exploud (if you can't tell)
I'm from Wisconsin, so I based Rhodicore on a local legend, the Hodag. Here's the wiki page for the Hodag. [link]
The name Rhodicore comes from three words, Rhinelander (the name of the city that the Hodag was first "sighted"), Hodag, and Hardcore (as in the genre of music, keeping the trend of the somewhat sound based terms in the evo. line of Exploud.
I'll edit in how Exploud evolved into Rhodicore soon. I'm feeling a bit sick right now and I don't have the patience.

Well, Pokemon only evolve twice, so perhaps it's not an evolution of Exploud, so much as an alternate evolution of Loudred?

It was for a contest which suggested that Legendary Pokemon were once normal Pokemon who, for one reason or another, transcended the typical Pokemon evolutionary barriers. The concept was to pick an existing Pokemon (in my case, Exploud) and design a "Legendary" evolution for it.

THe design elements your chose to use seem reminiscent of mayan or aztec relics depicting gods and mythological animals.
Either way nice concept, and interesting interpretation.

I like it quite a lot. I love Exploud, and this looks like the only legendary version of him, can't be anything else!
What I love most about it is that you really seem to have grasped the true spirit of the concept. I can actually see this as an legendary, but also as Exploud. Mainly though, the goal was to make a legendary, not a 4th evolution, and I thank you for doing the former.
