Is this still part of the Train Museum photo walk? A bit of love and affection (as well as sand paper, primer, paint etc.) should be able to restore this to the old glory! Real a very nice collab!!!

it is, indeed! Ulrich already gave you some information about the restoration process here. love and affection is fundamental as well as all the other material... (but i hope they will leave just a few of these weathered pieces, just as they are...)

They are working mostly with dedicated volunteers there to restore the old models. Still a little money is needed, this one being one of the oldes pieces they have.

Talvez seja como uma longa espera ... mas sempre com esperança. Minha mãe reclamou da casa velha por quase 40 anos. Mas sempre usou cortinas e decorações enquanto esperava pela nova construção.

é fundamental criarmos um ambiente de aconchego no espaço onde vivemos, e mais ainda se a casa for velha. por isso entendo bem a tua mãe... na minha opinião, as cortinas contribuem muito para esse aconchego...
nesta imagem, há ainda aquela cor vibrante, que transmite ânimo, energia... para mim, aquela janela é como um escape...
