Description Haven't uploaded anything for a while, so here you guys go!

This was done for a tafe assignment. The story/concept behind it is, when i was younger, people always told me to stop drawing fantasy creatures because there was no future or money in them. I didn't realize it then, but when i stopped drawing the things i loved, a little piece of me died inside, and so did my imagination.

The unicorn is crying, and his tears are turning into bubbles. He is crying because he knows his time in the child's imagination is over, and that was what was keeping him alive. The child is sad because they know in a way, they have to grow up and move on, but really doesn't want to.

I really hope you guys like this, i put a lot of effort and my soul into this and im really proud and happy to finally have the guts to bring this out of my mind and onto a canvas.

Done in Acrylic Paints and took a day to paint. Ill upload a clearer photo when i can take it right

Concept and idea belong to me, so if it is stolen i will be really upset, as this is something special to me!

Aww this comment really made my day I'm so glad you read the story as well! Im so glad you could see all these things in this artwork, it a very personal type of painting. Also glad you like the colour choice, it was difficult to come up with colours for a painting like this.

This is really pretty, I love the change in tone, it makes the picture that much more sad. The mushrooms add a great touch to the picture, the little bursts of red really makes it.

This looks great!
I really love the colours you used here, they are so grey and certainly get the sadness across to the viwere. I also like that you did the mushrooms in red, because it adds a bit of colour.
The way you painted the unicorn and the child is amazinh, I especially like their faces and expressions.
However, I think that the background and the surrounding space turned out a bit messy. We don't really know what's going on in the foreground. Perhaps anouther bigger mushroom or a bit of mist would gelp with this.
The way you painted the bubbles is very nice, they really look like bubbles, and I like the way they seem to come closer to the viewer.
This is a great painting!

A lot of famous books/movies/art/games fantasy/sci-fi when they say that, mention Lord of the Ring, Eargon, Chronicals of Narnia, Amy Brown, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Avatar, Doctor Who, World of War Craft, Gears of War, Terminator, Star Trek etc.
