Description This is a collection of various sketches from one of my current sketchbooks. There are:

Pix of various people sketched at a convention party I went to.
A sketch of InuYasha and Kouga drunk and loving it.
A sketch of Inu no Taisho with a newborn InuYasha
A sketch of Inu no Taisho with the black pearl that he knows will someday be his gravesite.
Sketches of various kinds of ears.

And other strangenesses.....

These are only a small sample. I just took what was left in the current books....

I like Inuyasha with that odd dreamy look on his face.

Nice warewolf.

I simply adore how you draw Inu no Taisho! He always looks wise and contemplative in your work.

Thank you! He is a father after all, so I want to portray him that way. Protective, strong, thoughtful,...all the good aspects of fatherhood. The tricky part is keeping the wildness of being a youkai. I haven't explored that bit yet...

You are most welcome! You know, I think that wildness is something that might need to be provoked in order for it to be seen. From what I know about this character, I would say that the way you draw him conveys the core qualities of a noble warrior. He seems to embody the Bushido Code in many ways. It is hard to capture the qualities of the Code in art, but you have managed it on an impressive level! I think that when it is time for him to show his protective nature in your art, he will "cooperate" beautifully for you.

Heh, that one is kinda funny. I was practicing the "sleepy-sexy" look. I think I failed at it, but the sketch is still fun...

See? I told you I failed. It's very interesting, however, to hear what you saw in it. It's constantly amazing how much the tiniest variations in line can change how facial features are read. I still don't have a handle on it....

I'll keep practicing!
