Description Oil on Panel, 60 x 90 cm (24" x 36")

I'm not a 'flower painter' but I wanted to paint the flowers which were laid down, one by one, on my mothers coffin when she died in february.
Originally there were 40 roses, apparently one was missing.

Incredible work! I've browsed through your entire gallery, and I've gotta say, your skills - both with sight and execution - are impressive.

It really is such a sweet painting with the context you've given in your description! The composition is simple, yet stunning! And the roses and the vase are rendered so beautifully... especially with this palate of muted colors.
