Description Inspired by Zenta 's works and the awesome Zoobotics I saw on the Maker Faire in Hannover. This little hexapod is capable of transforming itself into the shape of a pentakis dodecahedron for protection, easy transport and geometric simplicity.

I'm focusing on product and graphic design right now, there is more on my blog if someone's interested.

As a Doctor Who fan... I highly approve of your design!! It reminds me of the Mechenoids!Β alteredvistas.co.uk/assets/ima…

The design is so sleek. It has that special ops feel to it.
I can picture it clambering to its destination.
Really cool

The design of this bot is very sleek. I can picture it rolling to a point then clatter its way to its destination.

So makes me think of these "snake" toys from when I was a kid...

How awesome.. This bot is actually inspired from a toy I've seen somewhere. Must be a quite similar principle.

Mebbe. The toy was a long "snake"Β  that the elements turned on the "triangular axis".Β  IIRC they came in the form of a "ball" and one of the big tricks was to make a cobra snake from it.Β  I seem to remember them mostly being white and either red, green, blue, black and later on pink, neons, and metallic.

Sounds a lot like the thing i saw. It was black or white and consisted of something like pyramids with rhombic bases.

An interesting design. Just a concept, or do you have a particular use in mind for it?

Maybe a little robot friend?
I'm just trying to get away from militaristic concepts towards peaceful product designs while keeping some of the asthetics, so it's merely an experiment.
