Ofcourse I don't mind! A few friends did them 3 years ago and they did it with a lot of wax and rolling. But that isn't the right way.. The best way to make them is with a crochet needle.. It's pretty hard to learn so you have to practice a little bit. But I'm sure someone in your environment can make them as well 
Are you thinking about getting dreads then?
