an experiment. My take on the traditional carbon fruit mix. Full view is a must!

In Production:
Taken using a Nikon SB-600 speedlight, one 10 gallon aquarium filled with 6 gallons of carbonated water, and blue cloth as a pseudo back drop.
Post Production:
Rotated, sharpened and tonal editing in Adobe Lightroom. That's all.

Well, that's a one ridiculously sharp-focused photo I've seen since a while... Macro lenses became even more desired equipment for me now.
I love this deep, intense color on blurry second plan.
Everybody should click full view in my opinion.

I actually took this with an 18-55mm with macro diopters. Much cheaper than a macro lens

well in that case, I guess it's even harder to achieve such effect, so If I only could I would love to fave it twice
You have some really great technique.
Photography Isn't my main discipline but I like to experiment with colors and shapes, so even if I'm not so good at it, I can honestly say that It's really hard to get satisfying results in macro shots with water. You are very good at it. I will definitely look into your gallery again sometime.

carbonated water is great for macro shots! im working on something myself but im trying to use black ink with carbonated water! and this is inspirational for me!
