.:Original Species:. Caeli PoniesThe My Little Pony fandom has now an extra species: the Caeli Ponies. (For short: CP's)
(This is my very first specie, so yeah, tell me when something's not clear, or where I can improve things; but please be kind
)Name: The name comes from "caelum", which means "sky" in Latin. Literally, "Caeli Ponies" means "Ponies From The Sky". (For once, I'm using my "knowledge" of 4 years of Latin class...)
Inspiration: They are inspirated by Nightmare Moon's mane. (I really like her... mane? :iconsweetiebelleplz
Residence: Most Caeli Ponies live in Caelopius, home of the Caeli Ponies. This "town" floats somewhere near Cloudsdale, but a bit higher in the sky. They can also live in forests or mountains. The dryer the area, the less the chance they will appear. You won't find them in deserts, for example.
Appearance:
~ CP's have wavy, foggy hair (why I first wanted to name them "Foggy Manes", but that was too... ugh) that's a bit transpare [link]

I'm gonna join the group and tell you these are awesome and have great potential, and that if I had points or cash, I'd buy one, but, I'll trade you. 1 Caeli pony for... something. Let me know if there is some way I can trade you, but I really only know how to make traditional art as I dont even have a mouse, but I'm more than willing to trade you something for a Caeli pony!

I know you are getting a lot of these, but I'm trying to make my OC(Haven't posted the ref sheet just yet) in different kinds of ponies(Unicorn, Pegasus, earth pony, Alternate time lines, other species, ect) and I was wondering if I could turn my OC into one of these? If so, Yay! I'll start working on it now, and then link you the picture later when it's posted, and give you credit(Of course) and link the Caeli ponies information and such in the description. If not, Ok. I don't mind.
Oh, another thing, great job! I really liked how you made them look and they look awesome! Nice job on the drawings

Well, I'm kinda reworking them and thinking about adding a lot of new traits, since they're just so.. plain, especially in comparison to other species around here. So I'd rather not have any new Caeli Ponies until they have been reworked

Alright. It's fine! I really don't mind. And I thought that because they were so 'plain' it was a nice relief from the over done species with so many details that makes it hard to create an OC out of (Electric ponies with the wires, the clear glass legs, the weird hair, ect. got a little too hard to create.) I thought that the Caeli ponies were a nice reprieve.
However, that's just my two cents. Thanks for the good luck! I'll need it! either way, It's fine, and I'll be watching for the update.

I understand. ^^ What if instead of a regular tail, it's a rare trait to have a lion-like tail, you know, thin, then a tuft of hair on the end, or they have horns(Like a bull or goat or something)? Just some ideas about how to create some Varity.
And I am SO joining that group! It sounds fun! I can't wait!
And sure! I'll give you a link. I just need to find a good reference sheet, or a base I can create into a refrence sheet. (Might take a while!)
