Hmmm..
Well, imagine you have a notebook, but all the pages are transparant.
When you draw something on the first page, you can still see that drawing, even if you go to the next page. Yet you can't touch that drawing from the next page.
That is kinda how layers work too. If you draw something on one layer, you can see that drawing from other layers, but you can't touch them.
Does that explain what you wanted to know?

I did the drawing in Paint tool SAI, and I made the tutorial in Paint.

I didn't either, in the beginning. But then my chibis grew too fat (literally o.o) so I started putting more thought in the concept, and later in the rest as well... 8D
but it's actually more fun to draw them without putting effort in them.. O.o

and I think the color blue fits her well.. But if you know a better color, or maybe just in black and white with only the eyes colored, that would be awesome too, then you can use another color.
