Description
My paleo lineup with a certain famous, large, radioactive reptile added. When I made my paleo lineup images, I made the scale so that 100 pixels equaled one meter. The result is an image 20,000 pixels wide and, with Godzilla's height, 10,000 pixels tall. It took several minutes for Photoshop to even load the damn thing. Next time I think of making such a large file, someone slap me.
I read an article once that discussed what would actually happen if an animal became as large as Godzilla. Basically, it would immediately crumble under its own weight. If it didn't, the energy of even its slightest movement would turn its soft tissues into jelly. If that didn't happen, its body heat would build up and it would explode. If it that didn't happen, it would take minutes for nerve information to travel from its brain to its extremities. But other than that, it's quite plausible.

I honestly get a little bothered by articles like that. I'm pretty sure most people understand that Godzilla sized things can't exist on are planet.

LOL! It is so hard to help myself from laughing when picturing what would happen if a creature as huge as godzilla didn't crumble under it's own weight. I think the explosion from built from body overheating is the funniest. But I'm glad creatures of those size don't exist. Otherwise, whether the giant survives without it's own body falling apart or not, it would have crushed thousands of buildings, mountains, and trees on our planet.

Judging by the Amphicoelias, that Godzilla would be over 400 feet tall when standing upright, and 885 feet long o_O

So...
Where can we download the 20,000x10,000 version?
Not even joking.

Haha! Well, it's 60 megabytes, so too big to send via email or yousendit. If you have Dropbox, I can share a folder with you and put it in there.

There are a few different versions of Godzilla, one of which was really huge. Obviously, that's the version I used.

Is there a bigger version? The downloaded version isn't that big

I agree with Godzilla's size - The American version, while smaller (About the length of Dilophosaurus or a little bigger) Made a whole lot more sense while the Japanese version, while physically unable to support itself, is not well constructed for even hunting to feed itself, the classical up on the hips and tail on the ground position would damage the creature's skeletal system before the day was out if it managed to live that long.

So if I ever meet Godzilla, I'll just confront him with the impossibility of his own existence and watch the resulting space-time implosion erase him from all continuity. Owned, man.
What about Cthulhu? Now that's big. 'Course, he's a multidimensional elder god, so he has an excuse.

I think Yog-Sothoth would be even more impressive. Isn't he, like, existence incarnate?

Yes, but he's a lot of bubbles.
You want big? I give you big. Azathoth is sooo big, everyone keeps him asleep, because if he wakes up, he'll destroy the universe.
Yo monsta so fat...

You think that's big? Oh yeah? Uh....well, how about Aloufudfnduthoth, who rules the Omni-Ultra-Stupendoverse, and who pulled a tiny crumb of earwax out of his ear one day, and that tiny crumb of earwax became known to us as Azathoth? Now THAT's big!
If we keep going on, we run the risk of uncovering information that we mere mortals were Not Meant to Know.

You certainly do. You can see it better on the version without Godzilla.

So in other words, the best way to kill a giant monster is to make it giant?

Note to self: Create quick-grow hormone that is quite fast-acting in case of a monster attack.
