Speedy speed. All the painting was done in 30 minutes, but tweaked it quite a bit for a few minutes after.Related content

I have a curiosity about this piece: is the grain effect from the brush or was it done at the end of the speedpaint? It gives it a more realistic vibe, I hope I'm choosing my words right. It feels more lively, like an old grain photograph if that makes sense.

It's a post painting effect. A layer filled with 50% gray over all layers > RGB Noise filter > played with the settings to get a nice grain > set layer to overlay. I should have done the extra step of lowering opacity and maybe brushing some areas out to draw focus, but didn't have much time
It totally does emulate photography more and adds that extra touch of realism.
