Weekly challenge paint for20 minutes....not quite on theme, but sort of.
Man two days away from painting and I really feel it...not that happy with this one either. ugg
I used a Thomas Moran image as reference from my harddrive....can't be bothered finding a link right now.
*EDIT: figured I might have to actually put in another topic, hope DM7 wins! but if not ummm : RAIN

Agreeing with DM7 here about the rich colours, very nice combinations. I really like that purple silhouette of the rocks in the distance. And hats off for this being made in 20 minutes!

Haha me win? Pfft, this one deserve a winning award as well due to its wonderful colors. And even though you can't be bothered to find a ref link to that, I'm grateful that you mentioned his name. I haven't seen his works before and I spent all night surfing on his gallery in awe! No wonder you used his as an inspiration piece! It might be slightly off topic, but it still got that wild west vibe feeling just because it's often taken in the desert like those. 
Nevertheless, well done and keep up with those colors - it's so deep and rich!

Haha yeah, I can't paint horse either.. so no worries. I think you can get away with some cactuses and such anyways. XD Thomas Moran is indeed the bomb! Thanks, I'll definitely check them out. And np man!
