yo thought i was dead but i am Back and at full power (jk lmao im a mess)

Filly didn't trust Alma whatsoever, period. Ever since the plague she was very wary of the old wyngro. Yes, she was sweet indeed; but that all had to be a facade. Wasn't it a little suspicious how so many sick wynglings were taken away and never returned? Fishy indeed, luckily Filly didn't get sick herself so she was spared.

Now, that the plague was over things were getting a little more normal. They never allowed Filly to go back and look for her mother, but the wyngling was getting slowly used to the Nook. Wynglings were less sick and not taken anymore, but that didn't ease her suspicions. What happened to those poor innocent children just few months ago?

Making sure to keep to herself and avoid Alma, Filly learned how to read over time and became interested in books about illnesses and medicine. Every now and then, she'd go to the local library and take few books to flip through in her room. She didn't really understand a lot of things, but she thought it was cool anyway. At the moment, she had a book about genetic diseases and such. The fact that it had a lot of pictures made her like it even more.

Once she was finished with it, Filly went to return it back to the library. But, as she exited the Nook a basket caught her eye just at the entrance.

Two eggs, but one was a little unusual. The first one looked pretty ordinary, but the second...hmm. Small and very dark, it immediately reminded her of something she read in her book. That had to be a Shadow! Weak and sickly wyngrew with very dark colors and no ears.

First thought was to just leave them there and let the Nook caretaker deal with it, but then it hit her. She knew what happened to very, very sick wynglings...

Maybe, she could use that book for a little longer.

Filly finds two eggs and thinks Alma is going to do something to the Shadow. So, she decides to hide them in her room. Excuse lazy writing, just getting out of blooock.
