Hellooo today I preset you Erin's infected form in my story
So you may ask, what kind of infection?
There's an infection/virus which shadows can pass around to anything that has a soul (both living and dead) by biting or scratching their victims, not all shadows have the ability to pass this infection/virus. This infection makes the victims taller (usually 10-20 cm taller, in Erin's case it is 12cm), 5 times stronger than what they originally were, fur on limps, chest, back and shoulders (like Erin above) with hints of blue, black skin, thorns around face and blue eyes (!not red like Erin! I'll make a reference for how their eyes look soon), if the infected is a human they won't have a tail and ears. It is also giving them the abilities that a shadow has which are shapeshifting, doubling themselves, create nightmares, casting dark magic, speaking their language and eyesight. Because the infected aren't used to shadows' eyesight it is very common to drive them crazy and become violent. The first symptom is sharp pain of the chest but only at the start (if they are dead they won't feel a thing), a black skin layer spreading starting from the chest area and their star creating a black area around itself, this whole "transformation" process takes 4-7 days to complete.
