This is Elizabeth, the cat who was unfortunately hit by a car today and died.

I’m very sorry for not responding to your comments on my status update, I am reading them, I just am not sure how to respond and I feel really scared still. Elizabeth was only 2 and a half years old (more or less) so the fact that she died just makes me feel worse

If you want to support me, it would make me feel great if you donated money to your local animal shelter. Or, once my dad and I start it, donate to our Elizabeth Fund, where we raise money to raise awareness of accidents involving animals being hit or ran over by cars

I’m in tears just writing this, but I feel like she’s in a better place. Even though she was healthy, she had a leg disorder that caused her legs to get out of socket so she would shake her legs to get them back in place, which could lead to arthritis later on. Even though, if it got worse, it could be corrected with surgery, there is still a chance of it not working.
