In a hidden location, a blonde girl watches Zero travel through the Cyber Realm, irritated that her plans to capture him were thwarted by her enemy. setting up another plan, she contacts Vile in Area C to be ready to intercept Zero.

Zero and the Elf found themselves under a tree, pelted by heavy rainfall and standing on a highway. to their side was a forest with a large cityscape beyond it, and beyond that, a large, expansive valley. They were on a highway, with a large electronic sign saying 'Area A-3 Ahead' in front of them. The Elf is terrified, warning Zero that they need to get to Area X-1, and fast. A Pseudoroid is in the area, and she doesn't know which one it is.

Note: Cyberspace portals act as story only warp points. You will not be able to go to Area C for a while, and you will rarely go there for optional pickups.

Also at this point any enemy made of much better quality(basically higher quality sprites) will do more damage to Zero.

Zero does not have the card key to unlock blue doors.
