This project started out as a cut and dry redesign of the Rifleman II, but soon started to snowball into it's own thing when I had the idea to add lower arm actuators, as a callback to the Japanese Battletech Rifleman, of which I created separate line art for, that can be seen here: www.deviantart.com/ageiger42/a…

As far as the line art goes for both pieces I tried to imitate David White's signature style. David has been a huge influence on me in terms of the design language I use, and I'd be lying to say that he didn't play a huge role into solidifying my love for the Battletech franchise.

Hopefully I've managed to create line art that has half of what makes David's style so eye catching.
