Hmm... I don't know. Always someone said me "you must read this, you must read that", I simply couldn't enjoy it. At school, I had to read "Sophie's World". It was frustrating, boring an tedious.
Then, when I didn't need to read it, I read it, and enjoyed it!
What I'm saying is that if Rainbow Dash were up there, it would be 20% cooler and 100% less... "imperative"..."intimidating"... I don't know a better fitting word.

I totally get what you're saying. Being ordered to do something just isn't nice, even when the outcome may be good. To be honest though, I don't take any of this pony stuff seriously. This for example is a harmless, funny joke in my opinion. I wasn't trying to get any kids to actually read
Although, it probably wouldn't be bad if some would go "alright, I'll read a book just because the pony says so", haha
