New Edea character just dropped ✨

Meet Asa, an android created during the war that caused Edea's apocalypse by a fox scientist named Shion. Their primary objective is to "bring hope to the future", Back then, their creator knew that the Planetary War would end most (if not all) life on Edea, and so wanted to leave behind a "mark" that Edeans once lived. So, Shion copied her memories (along with vast amounts of information on Edean history and culture) into an advanced A.I. which gained sentience, and became Asa.

While Shion designed them to have a "kind" appearance, Asa is by no means defenseless. They were built to survive a nuclear war, after all. Asa is extremely durable, has enhanced strength, and can absorb the Quri in their surroundings and use it for combat.

After the war, Asa was supposed to roam the wastelands for signs of life; however, a malfunction in their power source made them drift in and out of dormancy throughout the centuries.

Other quick Asa facts

- is approx. 300 years old

- Doesn't really think about gender (uses literally any pronouns)

- Has a slight robotic edge to her voice, similar to Vocaloids

- Asa's consciousness is contained in a small Core , hidden in the back of her head. Though they also consider their robot body to be "them".

- Shion design Asa to look non-threatening in case they come across survivors.

- It's probably obvious, but Asa's appearance was heavily based off Klonoa ✨ they also were meant to not resemble and specific species. Other design inspirations include; The Bits (Archie sonic) and Jenny/XJ9 (My Life as a Teenage Robot)
