Well, if youβ€˜re wearing practical armour, you unfortunately do not look curvy, so that’s fine with me! And being short, too.

But why is the poor baby dragon chained? *hugs it*

Well the baby dragon was told not to eat all cookies, and it still did.

Which only proves that it wasnβ€˜t fed well.

In that case we definitely need the BDLF, the Baby Dragon Liberation Front, to stop cruelty against innocent baby dragons and feed them cookies, lots of cookies

(This drawing was by the way meant to be a sort of inverse of the classical fantasy scene with a chained woman in fear and with a fearsome dragon, and maybe some hero trying to rescue the poor woman)

I agree that the dragon needs rescuing. She seems to be doing well enough.

Think of the curves my boy. You're drawing a female character. that means you must always use ~~~ curved lines. Not ----- straight lines. even with armorplates. By the way is she a dwarf? She looks a bit stocky

I wanted to draw a tough woman, not the normal "idealised babe" which cannot be any good in combat because of the total lack of muscles. She is indeed a bit short too compared to the "idealised babe". My initial drawing of the warrior woman was even more "tough" and broader shoulders and so on. I changed the drawing a little. In general your remarks about women and curves are of course completely valid and right and maybe I should have made this warrior woman still a little bit less manly.

its not so much the idealised babe im talking about, but just general anatomy. the female body, even when muscled is naturally more curved than the male body, which is a lot stockier and straight. the curve of the neck, spine and hip lines is much more pronounced on a female figure than it is one a male figure. even if its only slightly. Also the figure is drawn in a way where we are looking at it directly from the front. Which makes her features a bit flat. if we were to look at it at about a 45 degree angle, slightly from the side, it would help not only in creating a sense of depth, but also make it easier to distinguish her form.
