Thanks! I will try fleshing out the character but for now it's some kind of lion monster demon (?) and I have yet to decide if giving him earth or fire elemental attribute. Probably fire because orange/red
I should draw a reference before I get bored of him (hopefully it won't happen soon!)

As for elemental attribute, why not mix fire and earth elemental attribute together, give him both! For like lava or magma combinations, could be an idea
Definitely go ahead and draw him up a reference to capture his design and all before you can't be bothered, otherwise it'd be sad .w.

Pfff, I'd say don't stress over it, a full body drawing of them or a little scene with them can count as a ref too, doesn't need to be a 'proper' ref x3
