***THIS IS NOT A HOMAGE TO MEL GIBSON***the only reason i painted him is the character of William Wallace, whom he embodies in one of my favorite films BRAVEHEART
*i still hate the bastard!
btw this was surprisingly easy, i finished it in like 5 hours, usually it takes me weeks if not months to paint something like that !
also i have to say, he has the most amazing blue eyes i've seen!
anyway i hope u can enjoy this piece even though its Mel Gibson...

Excellent drawing and great work on his face, very accurate and I can easily tell it's Mel Gibson.
The beard's texture is very good and adds to the realism. There some brush strokes between
his right eye( right on screen) and his nose that disturbed me a bit. Try to avoid using small
hard edge brushes for areas that aren't small details. Always try to use the largest brush you can for
each particular area, thus it will prevent the strange "overlap" look of a small brush.
Anyhow, It's still a great piece, well done.

thank you, but have you seen my work? i never leave brush strokes which means that if i do leave them its for a reason, this is the style i was aiming for- unpolished, unlike my usual more realistic style, cause every now and then i try to change it up a bit
