"My second theory ties in with her being royalty based off the line in her song I’m the Bad Guy:
“I’m not the damsel in distress. I’m not your girlfriend or the frightened princess. I’m not a little bird who need your help to fly.”
If she really is from royalty and is/was a princess this would explain her confusion when Sylvia called her a friend. Growing up maybe she wasn’t allowed to have any friends and was always locked in her house and never getting to be herself.
Sot even though Dominator may have accepted Sylvia friendship at first she immediately was baffled as to why Sylvia wouldn’t want to do what she say to which Sylvia say “ Friends help each other out but they are still their own people.” This is something Dominator just don’t understand. She either may have grown up doing whatever she want and pushing everybody around or that she grew up with a bunch of servants that was the closest thing she could call friends who would always do whatever she tell them to do. So it would make sense if Dominator can’t even comprehend the fact that someone wouldn’t want to do what she tell them to do, especially if they are friends. This leads to Dominator ditching Sylvia with her confirming to herself that having friends are stupid and overrated.
In the end Dominator may be a sociopath that enjoy causing people misery and running people’s lives but deep deep down all Dominator want is a friend that can actually appreciate her unlike her robots. This episode show that despite how much fun Dominator may have she’s actually pretty lonely and take comfort into talking to her robots or herself since there really isn’t anyone she can have a conversation with. The ending emphasize this as she simply sit on her chair as the camera pan out showing just how empty Dominator is."
